Peak Adventure app was a personal project I took on in order to develop my user interface and experience design skills. The concept involves a mobile app that aims to connect outdoor enthusiasts to nearby locations that match their interests and assist them in planning and scheduling those adventures. For the colour theme, I chose this specific palette as the colours are reminiscent of nature and the outdoors (blue skies/seas, green forests, red-orange sunsets) while still maintaining a modern look for the app. Clean line icons, SF font, and simplistic flat design illustrations throughout give the app a modern and professional feeling so that users can trust it.

When thinking about the user experience, I wanted to achieve a system that was easy to use and that made the process of planning a trip easier and quicker so that they would have more time to spend actually experiencing that trip. I included features such as a map and location tracker that shows nearby experiences in their area using information such as their current location, trip history, tailored searching, site information and ratings, and a friend and chat system that allows users to easily send invites and plan their adventures in collaboration with others.
